Distant Memories

…Kaho laid on the trunk of a large tree, her purple dress blending in with the gentle breeze. Her brown long hair cascaded down, and her purple eyes gazed out at the open field with a sense of sadness in her eyes. Her husband had been chosen to lead the quest to defeat the demon king, and he was leaving the village on a long journey. She knew the dangers he would face and the risks he was taking, and it broke her heart to see him go.

As she lay there, she watched the cherry blossom petals floated gracefully in the breeze, Kaho tears start cascading down her face, the cherry blossom petals continued to dance around her, but this time, they served as a reminder of the beauty and wonder of the world that her husband Takumi had sworn to protect. She knew that he was brave and that he would do everything in his power to defeat the demon king and return home safe.
